Deirdre of London, Inc.was founded in 1976 in London, England when top International dancesport competitors noticed the designs of Deirdre's competition costumes and asked her to design and make their costumes. Deirdre worked in London for many years before being invited to the United States in 1996 on an artist visa to provide costumes for World Champions and the U.S. Pro-Am circuit.
